Welcome on Board Illa dels Banyols!
The students put a lot of enthusiasm and hard work into preparing an exhibition about planes for their younger mates. We invited Escola Sant Jaume, and they came to visit us twice. We were very excited to create a truly interactive and fun exhibition where the students could see how planes work and gain both practical and theoretical knowledge.
There were seven different planes and seven different games related to them. The activities included making paper planes and having a real paper plane race, a trivia quiz, a match-up activity, and an exciting role-play where the students worked with tools. There was also a scavenger hunt, a puzzle-search activity, and a memory game. At every station, the students had the chance to move, think, build, and discover something new.
We even got to “board” planes during the activities, and there was so much laughter throughout the day. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention – all of this was done in English! Hats off to everyone involved!
It was by far one of the best days so far. We had an amazing time, and we were truly impressed by how much the younger students understood and communicated in English. Our Banyols students were absolutely incredible as hosts, helpers, and presenters.
They showed responsibility, creativity, and great teamwork. It was wonderful to see them guiding the younger students, explaining the activities, and encouraging them every step of the way.
You are ROCKSTARS!
And the weather was great too 🙂
